“We’ve been owners at the Franz Klammer for 7 years now and have loved every visit! The staff are incredibly friendly, you can’t beat the beautiful views, and the skiing is perfect. We are from LA, so aren’t used to the freezing weather, but with the option to check in your shoes at the bottom of the mountain, put your ski boots on, and get right on the lift makes the skiing process incredibly easy. Hot chocolate is waiting for you back at the lodge, and there are plenty of delicious food options in the village. There are comfortable campfires, movies and games to rent, and jacuzzis on almost every floor.
The rooms are large and feel like home. The beds are very comfortable and the living room makes for easy lounging and family time by the fire. The master bathrooms have large bath tubs, and the shower pressure is great. We also almost always use the Himmel spa. You can make a massage appointment same day, so if you get sore from skiing, you can come back and make an appointment very easily. They have steam rooms and oxygen therapy if you are interested as well. We come with friends, and everyone enjoys the relaxing stay. Some friends are skiers, some are snowboarders, and some are neither. There’s something for everyone here. Beautiful hiking trails, unique shops in town, ski lessons, spa treatments, you name it. Overall, the Franz Klammer is the best stay in mountain village. You can’t beat the staff’s smiles and willingness to make your stay even better than the last!”
