Jean is the Managing Partner for Village Real Estate, LLC. Previously, she was a sales associate for the Fairmont Heritage Place Franz Klammer Lodge’s developer, AMMV Investments. Growing up in upstate New York, Jean attained a mathematics degree and then an MBA in Marketing prior to moving to Telluride in 2000. She can’t imagine doing anything else than helping her clients find Telluride real estate that perfectly matches their needs. Jean has 21 years experience selling all forms of real estate in the Telluride region, and considers Telluride the most beautiful mountain town for many, many reasons. Janice GeronaJanice Gerona is an owner and partner in Village Real Estate, LLC. She is from New York, moving to Colorado in 1980 to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder. Her career arc has spanned from restaurant management to training disabled adults in acquiring jobs in their communities to non-profit fundraising. One of those was funding seed money to build the Rainbow Preschool in Telluride. Gerona’s two daughters graduated from Wesleyan University and University of Colorado at Boulder. She owned and managed Mountain Village’s The Village Table restaurant along with her husband and chef. The Village Table closed a few years ago after a successful decade-long run. Finding perfect properties for her clients is Janice’s professional real estate passion, and she will wade through streams or hike to the farthest reaches in order to help her clients close on their piece of paradise.
Emma BrownEmma has been visiting Telluride to ski since 2010 but was convinced to make a permanent move here in June 2013, after experiencing the wonders of a Telluride summer. Originally from Sydney, Australia, Emma has had an extensive career in marketing. She has been real estate broker for the last 17 years. Her work includes project marketing/sales for large developers such as Lend Lease and Australand to her last role in Sydney as a Senior Sales Consultant with LJ Hooker Mosman. LJ Hooker Mosman was crowned #1 real estate sales office in the worldwide LJ Hooker Network of 700+ offices for years 2011, 2012 and 2013. An exceptional communicator and an astute negotiator, Emma brings honesty, integrity and professionalism to every property transaction and has remained successful in her chosen profession throughout many changing markets. Emma has a genuine interest in people, is committed to achieving great results and is incredibly excited to call Telluride home.
Abby was introduced to Telluride in 2018 through the Film Festival, which led her to make it home in Summer 2023. She grew up in Atlanta, GA where she has worked in the film industry for over 11 years, along with market managing and representing various brands for 8 years, and was compelled to become a broker in 2019.
Abby’s blooming real estate career and extensive time in the arts go hand in hand with her love for travel and passion for people. Through exploring 15 countries and counting, she understands how the power of meaningful connections can positively influence relationships, especially when it comes to investing in real estate.
Although Abby is newer to the Telluride market, she is steadily gaining experience through the mentorship of the incredible women on the Village Real Estate Team.
