Jean came highly recommended to us. She helped our friends purchase a unit at the Franz almost 2 decades ago and she is now a dear friend to them. Jean was all they built her up to be. There are many realtors one can choose from, but I'm glad I had Abby throughout the home buying process. Don't let her sweet looks fool you, as she is not afraid to jump right in and take charge. We have been working with Jean since 2014. She helped us first with our Franz Klammer Lodge purchase. As with so many others, we quickly realized we wanted to spend more time in Telluride. She went to work finding us a home. She completely respected the price range we gave her and never tried to push us out of that range. She carefully and thoughtfully curated the homes to consider. We even went in one five times and in the end did not purchase it. She never got impatient with us and continued to search even harder. She found one that was perfect for us. We enjoyed it for five years, but alas, we needed a little more square footage as our daughters are beginning to start their families. On the next search we were amazed at Jean’s expert knowledge of so many areas in the Telluride area. We were looking at homes in town and on the mesas. We threw different ideas to her every few days. She would pivot and with just as much vigor start searching the new area. Always with energy and a desire to help us land where we would be the happiest. She achieved that goal again in July 2020. I can not rave about Abby enough! From the initial meeting about my house wants/needs, to the search for the perfect “home”, the intimidating loan process, and even the communication we continue to have a year after my purchase, Abby never ceases to go above and beyond what you would expect out of a Relator. As a first time home buyer, I was incredibly nervous, but with her guidance, Knowledge, and open communication, I left feeling as though no detail or question was left unanswered. While gaining a “home”, Abby taught me infinite knowledge of being a homeowner and the details surrounding how to care and maintain my home. This is our third year of ownership at the Franz Klammer Heritage Place in Telluride Colorado. We have been extremely happy with the property and staff. As a Realtor and developer in Michigan I do not buy real estate outside of my market. After being at the FKL for a day I was ready to purchase and did. Once learning how the week rotations work it is very easy to schedule and plan summer and winter vacations. As an owner you also become a member of the Fairmont Presidents Club allowing Gold Level status at all Fairmont Hotels and discounted room rates. I have used this many times. You may also trade into many properties around the world... So exciting. Having a deeded property with such flexibility is wonderful.
