On May 15th, I had the pleasure of being one of a few of the first passengers on Denver Air Connections daily round-trip service to Telluride.
Myself and a few other Telluride locals flew back to Denver from Telluride on the Dornier 328 aircraft. The jet seats 30 people. We took off from Telluride at 2:42 p.m. and landed in Denver at 3:26 p.m.
We flew at 31,000 feet at 450 knots in absolute comfort and style. You can see from the photo of the in-flight snack and drink service that Denver Air Connection does it right! A couple of snack choices as well as a whole can of soda! It gets your blood sugar up for the day in Denver, or the day skiing or hiking in Telluride, depending on your direction.
The aircraft was roomy, and the cabin space felt more like the larger jetliners I’m used to flying aboard. The flight attendants were terrifically friendly and happy to be flying with you.
All in all, the new Denver Air Connection service to and from Denver to Telluride is a wonderful new thing, and we here at Village Real Estate and the Fairmont Heritage Place Franz Klammer Lodge suggest you book the service next time your planning your Telluride vacation.
